Learning languages

I recently had a WhatsAp discussion with my daughter on what should be the next language she should learn. I suggested gobbledygook, which got me looking into how to spell it (gobbledygook, gobbledigook, gobbeldigook, gobble-d-gook? – check www.googlefight.com if you want to know the most used spelling) and her searching the Web. She even managed to find a song from Sigur Ros with that title http://on.natgeo.com/112lhc6
and, in case you want to know the lyrics, here they are

Þú hatta fjúka lætur í loft
Þú regnhlíf snú á hvolf allt of oft
Ó nei, ekki – ó
Þó þök að fjúka út á brot sjó
Þú hári strjúka faldinum sló
Óhræsisstrákur
Þú (Lalalala lalalala : Lalalala lalalala)
Vindur í hárinu – úú
Vindur í hárinu – úú
Vindur í hárinu – úú
Vindur í…
(Lalalala lalalala : Lalalala)
Þú augu fjúka í sand tárast
Þú tyggigúm í hendir hár fast
Óhræsisstrákur
Þú (Lalalala lalalala : Lalalala lalalala)
Vindur í hárinu – úú
Vindur í hárinu – úú
Vindur í hárinu – úú
Vindur í…
(Lalalala lalalala : Lalalala)
Lalala læ lalala : Lalala læ lalala
Lalala læ lalala : Lalala læ lalala
Lalala læ lalala : Lalala læ
(Lalalala lalalala : Lalalala)
(Lalalala lalalala : Lalalala)
Lalalala lalalala : Lalalala lalalala
Lalalala lalalala : Lalalala lalalala
Lalalala lalalala : Lala lalalala.

I can just about understand the Lalalala, but the rest is all gobbledygook (or should I say, double-dutch) to me. Perhaps my daughter should learn Icelandic next.
